Five areas of practice. Each handled in depth.

We have intentionally kept our scope tight: every matter we accept falls within one of the areas below, so the work is always done by someone who has done it many times before.

Sale, Purchase & Transfer of Property

We treat every property purchase or sale as if it were our own — methodical when it matters, practical throughout, and focused on getting you to settlement without surprises.

Our aim is to save you time, money and stress. We prepare, negotiate and complete your transaction in a proactive, accurate and efficient manner, and we keep you informed at every stage.

We deal with the other side's solicitor and agent on a non-confrontational basis. We believe collaboration is the fastest route to settlement and the path with the least friction for you.

Where required, we can arrange a building and pest report and/or strata report so you can sign with confidence.

For existing built properties we offer a free contract review that highlights important terms and suggested amendments before you commit.

What's included
  • Owner-occupier and investor purchases
  • Sales of residential and commercial property
  • Free pre-purchase contract review
  • Building, pest and strata report coordination

Off the Plan & Unregistered Land

We have extensive experience with off-the-plan and unregistered land — both selling and buying. This includes house-and-land packages, land with a separate building contract, and vacant land. We have worked with all of the major developers.

If you are selling, we ensure the sale contract properly protects you. If you are buying, we negotiate amendments designed to safeguard your rights — including sunset clauses, variation provisions and disclosure obligations.

We do not treat an off-the-plan purchase as a routine conveyance. We provide regular updates so you always know where your transaction stands, and we guide you through the process clearly and at a pace you are comfortable with.

What's included
  • Apartments and townhouse projects
  • House-and-land packages
  • Vacant and unregistered land
  • Sunset clause and variation review

Sale & Purchase of Businesses & Franchises

When purchasing a business or franchise — existing or new — we review the contract thoroughly to ensure you are properly protected on issues such as restraint of trade, employee entitlements, business names, leases and warranties.

When selling, we draft the contract so that you retain appropriate protection after settlement and your obligations are clearly defined.

We have extensive experience with the sale and purchase of franchises including Australia Post, Muffin Break, Domino's, Midas, Subway and 7-Eleven.

If you need urgent or general advice on a business or franchise transaction, please contact us.

What's included
  • Existing and new business purchases
  • Franchise acquisitions and sales
  • Restraint, employee and IP review
  • Coordination with associated leases

Commercial Leases

We have extensive experience across all aspects of commercial leasing — drafting leases for landlords, acting for tenants, lease renewals and the exercise of options.

Landlords: the enforceability and correct drafting of your lease is vital to protect your property investment.

Tenants: your premises are essential to the success of your business. We negotiate the best lease terms reasonably available so you avoid unexpected costs or operational changes later. We will not finalise a lease until you are entirely comfortable with the terms.

We take a practical approach at a reasonable price, and we advise on the full lifecycle of leasing matters.

What's included
  • Assignment of leases and sub-leases
  • Exercise of options to renew
  • Insurance, liability and personal guarantees
  • Rent reviews and option-to-purchase clauses
  • Heads of Term Agreement to registration

Not sure which category your matter falls into?
